Morning Came the 63rd Day
Calm and beautiful start to the day. We walked across the road to the beach to catch sunrise. We arrived a tad early so got the pastel prelude. Slightly chilly but the water was warm.
It was interesting to observe.....some were surfing, some walking but the beach was relatively quiet. So we could just watch the day emerge. What a privilegeChris took us to visit her Mum in care. Although she can"t communicate, she knew we were there. Chris does an commendable job to keep her life interesting.
Next stop- the Bunker Cartoon Gallery which was staging an exhibition of Bill and Johannes Leek's work- truly superb. Lots of laughs and wonder at the excellence of the work
Lunch in the town square was sooooo tasty! Roasted cauli on sourdough with a whole range of enhancing accompaniments, all enjoyed in comforting sunshine.
So to balance the good food , a decent walk was required.. this time the South Wall of the harbour. Although accommodation is tight,
....and food venues are busy, the beaches and parks are relatively quiet. Space to wander. Although the gulls were crowding in!
A grand view to the south to remember when we are in cokder climes.
So it's farewell to Coff's Harbour. So wonderful to catch up with a schoolfriend- the kind where time makes no difference. We just pick up where we left off.
So ends our 63rd day❣
